Our Story
Every story begins with a voice.
Our work begins by listening.
Room to Grow
Our Purpose
Reed Press was born from a quiet ache: the sense that somewhere along the way, the soul of storytelling got lost.
In manuscripts, classrooms, conversations, and bookshelves, stories wait to be heard—complicated, tender, urgent stories. Too often, they are flattened by noise, rushed through systems, or left untold because no one made space to listen.
At Reed Press, stories are given the time, care, and stewardship they need to take root.
Meet Nicole Reed
Nicole Reed founded Reed Press after more than two decades in journalism, publishing, and digital media.
Her career began in newsrooms, where she learned to listen closely, ask better questions, and shape complex stories with clarity and care. Over the years, that work expanded into editorial leadership, content strategy, author support, and publishing guidance.
Reed Press grew from that experience and from a simple belief: stories deserve thoughtful stewardship. Whether working with a first-time author, a seasoned writer, or a creative professional trying to find the right words, Nicole brings the same editorial care to the process — listening first, shaping with intention, and helping each story move closer to what it was meant to become.
